Christopher is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board, the Health Professions Council of South Africa and is a member of the New Zealand Psychologist’s Society.
With over two decades of experience in the field, Christopher is an exceptionally skilled clinician with a comprehensive expertise in addressing a broad spectrum of psychological challenges. His therapeutic proficiency encompasses both everyday difficulties—such as navigating loss, resolving relationship challenges, managing academic pressures, and handling interpersonal tensions with friends, family, or colleagues—and emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, chronic stress, pain, head injuries, feelings of sadness and suicidal ideations. Additionally, Christopher specialises in supporting clients with more complex concerns, including but not limited to bipolar disorder, trauma (including sexual trauma), substance addiction and psychosis. His extensive experience and multifaceted approach enable him to offer tailored support to individuals with a wide range of emotional and psychological needs.

Christopher has also gained considerable experience working within the military aviation sector, where he was responsible for overseeing aviation psychology at the Institute of Aviation Medicine. His key duties included coordinating and assessing pilot selection processes, supervising aviation psychologists across the country to ensure the delivery of appropriate therapeutic and psychological assessment services, serving as an expert on human factors in Aircraft Accident Investigations, and providing advisory support to the South African Air Force Aviation Safety Directorate.
